1. Key Stage 2 Outcomes

Key KS2 Insights:

• 60.0% of Year 6 pupils reached the expected standard in their Mathematics SAT paper, trailing significantly behind Reading (73.3%) and Writing (66.7%). Combined was 53%. We have seen an increase across all subjects from 2025
• For the MTC check 42% of children achieved full marks. This is an increase from last year’s 11%

2. Early Years & Keystage One

• Reception (EYFS): 70.6% of pupils achieved a Good Level of Development (GLD). 
• Year 1 Phonics: A very positive 80.0% of pupils passed their Phonics Screening Check.
• Year 2 Teacher Assessments:

• Reading: 64.5% Expected
• Writing: 67.7% Expected
• Maths: 58.1% Expected

We continue to be broadly in line with National, however maths will be a focus for the Y2 cohort when moving to KS2.

3. Attendance and Persistent Absence

The school has successfully reversed a trend of declining attendance:

• Sessions Missed: Attendance improved by 1.9% in the 2024/25 period, bringing the absence rate to 4.9%, which is better than the national average of 5.2%.

• Persistent Absence (PA): PA rates plummeted from 19.4% to 10.3% in one year. This is a significant achievement, placing the school 3% better than the national average of 13.3%.
